THE CONCEPT

MÂ is an original creation of Gilles Fortier, adaptable and exportable to all types of equestrian staging.

SYNOPSIS

MÂ, (the word ‘horse’ in Chinese), is the symbol of speed and stamina. In this performance of around fourteen minutes, man faces an equestrian onslaught, this animal power whose life-force holds us with a magnetic-like attraction.

THE ACT

A torrent of intense and precise actions uniting music, fire, equestrian art, haute-école, dance, special effects and acrobatics giving birth an incredible imagery.

Gilles Fortier marks his 10th production with a short performance specially created for the Gala performance at the Albi Horse Show in March 2009, combining various sequences inspired by his longer shows.

Since then, the performance is constantly evolving.

ANECDOTES

• The original idea of this act is accurate. Offer a range of different actions and scenes on a frenetic musical rhythm with sequences in perfect sync.

• At its premiere, the fire pots ignited by a stream of fire falling from the grid. A magical and breathtaking effect.

• In January 2018, Gilles and his team done their presentation to the Dutch public during the show "Friesian Proms". For the occasion, the soundtrack was totally arranged to play by a live orchestra. A challenge and a total success.
